PB 303 - Social Marketing

Social marketing is generally defined as the design and implementation of programs that introduce and promote an idea or cause that benefits society. The social marketer applies commercial marketing principles to health and human service programs. Behavior change, rather than profit, is the goal. This course will explore the application of marketing concepts to health services marketing, health behavior change promotion, and health communications.
