PT 486 - Pathophysiology II


This is the second of a two-course sequence that will present an overview of the pathophysiology of disorders frequently encountered by physical therapists, particularly those affecting the gastrointestinal, genitourinary, integumentary, and the neuromuscular systems as well as other clinical medicine disorders such as infectious disease. Disease processes across the life span are presented. Basic pharmacologic intervention is discussed. The course will emphasize the relationships of pathological processes to patient symptoms and function through the life span.
