EL 106 - ESL Reading and Writing II An advanced reading/writing course for students whose first language is not English. Students will continue improving and enhancing their academic reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, paraphrasing, outlining, summarizing, and critical-thinking skills. Students will also be introduced to documentation and the research paper process and experience. The course also emphasizes pre-writing, drafting, and revising. This course may not be used to fulfill any graduation requirements.
