PB 312 - Persuasion and Critical Thinking for Pharmaceutical Marketing


Exploration of the function, scope, and power of various forms of persuasion as part of the marketing communication process, as well as the ethical and unethical uses of persuasion. In addition to the emphasis on use of persuasion in the healthcare marketing environment, examples from other fields will be introduced to broaden students’ perspective and develop skills for critical evaluation of persuasive messages.
