PS 309 - Personality Theory An introduction to a basic understanding of personality theory, this course will emphasize the ways in which people are unique and how their patterns of behavior persist over a lifetime. Processes such as motivation, perception, learning, levels of consciousness, and self-concept are used to form our understanding of personality, and these processes are explored within all major theoretical perspectives: psychoanalytic, dispositional, humanist, and behavioral.
