WR 301 - Science Fiction
This course surveys science fiction in print, film, television, comics, and popular culture as a rhetorical response to science as the “dominant discourse” of the 20th and 21st centuries. Students will study and write about innovations in science along with the science fiction texts that have responded to the ideas they presented.
