PY 370 - Mathematical Methods for the Physical Sciences I (cross-listed as MA 370) This course, the first of the two-course sequence, is an introduction to mathematical methods used in physics, chemistry, and physical and related sciences: vector calculus, functions of complex variable, Fourier series, Fourier transform, series solutions of ordinary differential equations, and introduction to group theory.
